Day 12

Yesterday was a big day for holden. It was moving day. We knew that he had the chance of being moved to the east wing of the cvicu today. It was dependent upon them hang an opening. We knew that he would iplikely also be placed in the community room. Meaning, I would be sleeping with him along with other babies and moms.
Our first fun part of the day was getting his nasal canula removed. Now he was breathing normal room air. The nurses kept plus ing back his moving date, and told us that a baby might be going home and we had the possibility to get a private room. I told them we would wait as long as needed if that child happen. Finally, at seven pm we moved to our private room. There are two beds for Bryan and i. Along with a crib for Holden. All the nurses on staff were watching us and giving coos and awes as we walked Holden over to the new wing.
Our first night was rough, he was fussy and couldn't keep the pacifier in his mouth for long. So we were up a lot soothing him and putting the pacifier back in his little mouth. About 4 o o'clock he went to sleep and slept pretty well until 9 this morning.
I'm tired but excited that I can hold my baby whenever I want!
